Description
The Horseshoe Pass Challenge - As part of Etape Cymru, the route goes over the infamous Horseshoe Pass. This 6.1Km climb gains 317m in height and at times the gradient reaches 20%. The 100-mile route, which includes over 6000ft of climbing will start and finish in Wrexham, North Wales and pass through the Clwydian Range, which is an area of outstanding beauty. The route takes in several well-known climbs such as: Horseshoe Pass, The Shelf, The Garth and Worlds End.
