Description
Walk a section of the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path and help transform the lives of people without water or sanitation. The scenery is spectacular, the heritage rich and varied, the beaches and coves are inviting, the cliffs inspiring – all in all a great day out! The Isle of Anglesey Coast Path has been divided into 16 sections, each between four and 15 miles in length. Each section is graded as easy, moderate, strenuous or severe, so you can choose a section that suits your level of fitness. There is something for everybody: casual walkers, ramblers, long-distance walkers, families, the young and the not so young, the very fit and everyone else as well. Some of the sections are suitable for use by wheelchairs and buggies. There is no registration fee. If you would like to take part, we ask that each team member aims to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship for WaterAid, with family teams or children raising whatever they can. Every team will have the option of setting up an online sponsorship page or receiving an individual sponsor form to print out. All the money raised will provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene education to in Africa living in extreme poverty.
