Description
Although Cilcain Show has gradually changed and grown down the years, the spirit of the old Society remains. Traditional competitions and a dog show bring together the community in joint endeavour, enjoyment and interest. The show attracts about 4,000 visitors and raises funds for the church and local community. There is also the Moel Fammau Mountain Race, over a distance of approximately 4 miles. The winner usually takes under half an hour to complete it. There are various prizes including outright winner, local winner, ladies winner, etc.
